29 homes to be provided in Tipperary through a scheme to bring back into use long-term vacant local authority units

29 homes in Tipperary will be provided through a scheme to bring back into use long-term vacant local authority units. €433,000 has been allocated for these homes - 15 home for North Tipperary and an allocation of €216,000, and 14 for homes for South Tipperary and an allocation of €217,000.    This is good news for the area, there is significant pressure on social housing supply in North Tipperary and these houses will ease some of that pressure.

This funding is part of a scheme to bring back into use long-term vacant local authority units announced by my colleague Minister for Housing and Planning, Jan O'Sullivan TD this morning.  The €15m fund will create homes for 952 families across the country.
