Kelly Welcomes Plans For South Tipperary General Hospital

Local TD Alan Kelly, Minister for the Environment, Community & Local Government has welcomed the news that The HSE South has lodged an application with Tipperary County Council for works at South Tipperary General Hospital. The planned works include a new three storey extension  which would house a new Radiology unit as well provide space for acute hospital services . 
Minister Kelly said "this is very welcome news for patients and staff, to have the facilities upgraded at the hospital.  I know that the provision of a long awaited radiology unit will be welcomed by all groups"
