Projects in Tipperary that received  funding will include:-

^{BEC/00633: This proposal is a collective one on behalf of a range of Eco-Merit member companies and organisations. These are a mix of commercial, public and not-for-profit entities, including registered charities with a common goal of improving their sustainability and energy efficiency. The non-domestic buildings involved in the project include: Waterford and South Tipperary Community Youth Services (WSTCYS). WSTCYS will share a grant offer of €170,586, along with other qualified projects in this section.}

^{BEC/00639: North Community Enterprises (NCE) Insulation is leading the way on this project alongside Respond. The proposed project is aiming to provide energy efficiency upgrades to 3 non-domestic sites in Tipperary which are all Respond Community Buildings. There are 139 dwellings in the Respond housing association building stock, in the Tipperary area, with 69 of them being energy poor. The measures proposed are windows and door replacements, insulation, heat pump and lighting upgrades. Grant Offer of €1,044,182 is allocated to this project.}

^{BEC/00647: In this project Energy Communities Tipperary and the Drombane/Upperchurch Energy Team is demonstrating the potential of local voluntary groups acting as dynamic local drivers, creating a unique collaborative model in Tipperary, involving communities and local development agencies working collaboratively and aiming at energy self-sufficiency within Tipperary communities. The non-domestic elements of this project focus on the Cappawhite Resource Centre and Ballycahill Church, with the domestic ranging across 103 residential properties, with 60 being classed as energy poor. The measures to be implemented are doors and windows replacements, insulation, solar panels, heat pumps, boiler, light emitting diode and heating controls upgrades. Grant Offer of €1,034,684 is allocated to this project.}

^{BEC/00663: Retrofit Energy Ireland Limited (REIL) are partnering with Wyeth in this application who are very conscious that they can positively influence the communities in which they work and live, and have heavily supported local charities each year. Now that environmental and energy issues are becoming more important within the plant they are hoping to disseminate this ethos and information to the community. Throughout Limerick, Tipperary and Clare the proposed non-domestic sites are Enable Ireland Quinn’s Cross, Enable Ireland, Ballykeefe, Dock Road, Wyeth Nutritional, Enable Ireland, Joe Daly Road and Enable Ireland, Breakfree Lodge. The measures for these sites would include lighting, pump, boiler, building management system upgrades as well as photovoltaic panels. Tipperary projects will share a grant offer of €97,572 along with other qualified projects in this section.}

^{BEC/00675: With Retrofit Energy Ireland Limited (REIL) at the helm alongside Angel Brook Energy, Brookfield Energy, Respond Housing Association, Clúid Housing, Order of Malta and Brusna Energy Solution this project involves a new collaboration of the hospitality sector to include Racket Hall Hotel. Racket Hall Hotel will share a grant offer of €776,148 along with other qualified projects in this section.}

^{BEC/00668: This project is being launched by Musgrave Ltd. Musgrave Retailers (SuperValu/Centra) who have a long and distinguished history of being at the heart of building thriving and vibrant local communities throughout the country, focusing on relationships, honesty, hard work, achievement and community identity. The non-domestic aspects if the proposal includes sites at The Tipperary Kitchen Holycross Stores. The Tipperary Kitchen Holycross Stores will share a grant offer of €791,528 along with other qualified projects in this section.}

^{BEC/00697: The project consists of two experienced companies, Leetherm Project Management and Carlow Kilkenny Energy Agency (CKEA) coming together and supplying the expertise, experience and innovative funding necessary to get a small pilot project up and running in the Slievenamon Valley Area in 2017 which can be replicated and upscaled in the coming years. Boherlahan National School in Boherlahan, Cloneen National School in Cloneen, St. Peter and Pauls National School Clonmel and Foroige Danesfort, a youth activity centre are all receiving energy efficiency upgrades. There are 6 domestic homes included in the project located in Slievenamon area. Five of these homes are energy fuel poor and all homes are receiving a combined fabric upgrade. Other upgrades include attic, cavity wall and external wall insulation, storage heating upgrade, external door and window replacements, lighting upgrades and electricity energy monitors. Grant offer of €245,811.}

^{BEC/00701: The North Tipperary Leader Partnership is acting as Lead Applicant, with Tipperary Energy Agency acting as the project co-ordinator. This project involves energy efficiency upgrade works at St. Pauls Community Centre, Holycross GAA Club, Nenagh Lawn Tennis Club, St John the Baptist School, Youghalarra School, Irish Water, Ballycahill Community Centre and Cloughjordan Eco Village. There are also 11 residential units included in this project of which 2 of the units are fuel-poor. The measures include windows upgrade, heat pumps, de-stratification circular fans, photovoltaic panels, boiler and lighting upgrades. Total Grant offer of €1,015,145.}

^{BEC/00702: North Tipperary Leader Partnership is the lead applicant, partnering with Tipperary County Council, Tipperary Energy Agency and Irish Water. The project consists of 24 residential units with 9 designated fuel-poor in various locations in Tipperary. The project also comprises of 5 community buildings to be upgraded, including a building in the Cloughjordan Eco Village, Scouts Hall Nenagh, St Patrick’s Dwelling for the Elderly in Cashel, Cashel Community School and St Mary’s Church Cahir. Works being carried out include roof insulation, cavity wall insulation, external wall insulation, floor insulation, full window replacement, external door replacement, solid fuel room heater, air-to-water-heat-pump with fully integrated heating controls upgrade with remote access, combined fabric upgrade, compact fluorescent lamps, electricity energy monitor upgrades, de-stratification fan upgrade, photovoltaic panel installation, heat pump, gas boiler and lighting upgrades. Total Grant offer of €980,942.}
